Why it Belongs In Your Kitchen

Some cookware is made to be used. Some is made to be seen. This one refuses to choose.

The Brass Embossed Handi with Lid Set of 3 is where artistry meets the everyday, each handi hand-crafted with intricate embossed detailing that makes it as stunning on your dining table as it is purposeful on your stove. Crafted by the artisans of Pitalnagri, the graduating set of three gives you the right size for every occasion, from a quiet weekday dal to a full festive spread.

Brass distributes heat slowly and evenly, drawing out the full depth of flavours in every dish. The lid seals in steam and aroma, so what reaches the table is rich, layered, and deeply satisfying.

Everyday Care

  • Wash with mild dish soap and a soft sponge after each use.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh scrubbers, as they may damage the finish and tin lining (Kalai).
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth after washing to prevent water spots and maintain its natural shine.

To Restore the Shine

Over time, brass/Copper/Kansa naturally develops a soft patina, which is a sign of authentic metal and does not affect its performance.

To bring back its original lustre :

  • Gently rub the exterior with a natural paste made from Flour (atta) + Lemon + Salt.
  • Rinse with clean water and wipe dry immediately.
  • Avoid using acidic cleaners on the tin-lined interior (Kalai).

Every Pitalya piece is thoughtfully handcrafted by skilled artisans, making each creation truly one of a kind. As a result, slight variations in size, weight, shape, colour, texture, or finish are natural and reflect the beauty and authenticity of traditional handmade craftsmanship.

Please note that product images may vary slightly from the actual product due to lighting conditions, photography, and individual screen settings.

Rest assured, every Pitalya product is crafted using 100% pure brass, copper, or kansa (as specified) with meticulous attention to quality, craftsmanship, and timeless design. While each piece may have subtle handcrafted variations, the design, material, and quality will always remain true to what is shown and described.
